The 3rd International Conference on Mechatronics, Robotics and Control Systems (MRCS 2026) Concludes Successfully

Held on September 19, 2026 in Zhumadian, Henan, MRCS 2026 was hosted by Huanghuai University, co‑organized by the School of Electronic Information of Huanghuai University, Ritsumeikan University and Henan Provincial Association of Automation, and co‑sponsored by Macao Science, Technology and Culture Exchange Association and RDLink R&D Home. Focusing on robot control, intelligent perception, industrial automation, digital twins and reinforcement learning, the conference built an international academic platform for mechatronics‑AI interdisciplinary research.

The opening ceremony was chaired by Professor Ruxian Yao. Professor Xiaoyan Li delivered an opening address, followed by speeches from Professor Lin Meng and Professor Jianjing Shen. Five outstanding papers received the Best Paper Award.

Keynote speeches were hosted by Professor Haijun Zhang. Distinguished scholars including Shahid Khattak, Zhou Wu, Xiankai Lu, Zhigang Shang, Aihui Wang and Xing Xie shared frontier research on modular robots, building energy‑saving AI, target tracking, neuromodulation, rehabilitation robot control and structural load prediction. Professor Xiuyun Chen presented certificates to keynote speakers.

Ten young researchers delivered oral presentations covering ionospheric modelling, inverter control, neural network pruning, gait prediction and other hot topics. Three Best Oral Presentation Awards went to Xueying Hu, Chaojian Weng and Haruto Hashizume.

MRCS 2026 has constructed a high‑level international communication channel for mechatronics and robotics. Moving forward, organizers will keep promoting international cooperation, disciplinary development and technological innovation to support high‑quality growth of China’s manufacturing sector.
