Keynote Speakers

Shahid Khattak received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan in 1993, M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering specializing in Communications and Signal Processing from Purdue University, USA in 1997, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from TU Dresden, Germany in 1997. His research interests cover cutting-edge mobile communication systems, especially beyond-5G technologies. His work focuses on base station cooperation and spectrum efficiency to improve the performance and reliability of next-generation networks. Besides, he has extensively investigated bionic algorithms, deep learning and conformal beamforming antennas and made remarkable contributions to advances in these fields.

Professor Zhou Wu is a full professor at Chongqing University. He obtained his Ph.D. from City University of Hong Kong in 2013. He has served as an IEEE Senior Member since 2020, and a member of ACM and Chinese Association of Automation. His research interests mainly include intelligent optimization, smart grid, intelligent buildings and construction. He received Best Paper Awards at IEEE ISPCE-CN 2020 and ISPCE-AS 2024, as well as the Outstanding Associate Editor Award of IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics. He holds multiple national patents and software copyrights, and has co-authored more than 80 academic papers published in top international journals including Science Advances, IEEE TNNLS, TII, TCE and Applied Energy. In addition, he serves as Associate Editor or Editorial Board Member for journals including IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, Complex & Intelligent Systems and International Journal of Fuzzy & Intelligent Systems.

Xiankai Lu is Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in the School of Software, Shandong University. He was selected for the Young Talent Support Project of China Association for Science and Technology in 2021, appointed as the principal investigator of the Youth Innovation Team of Shandong Universities and Young Taishan Scholar of Shandong Province in 2023. He received his bachelor’s degree from Shandong University and Ph.D. in Pattern Recognition from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. From August 2018 to October 2020, he worked as an Assistant Researcher at the Inception Institute of Artificial Intelligence (IIAI). His research focuses on artificial intelligence, computer vision, multimodal large models and low-altitude remote sensing image analysis. He presides over sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program and the Young/Special Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 40 high-level papers in top journals and conferences such as IEEE TPAMI, IEEE Proceedings, NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV and ECCV, with 2 international patents and 1 English monograph. His Google Scholar citations exceed 4700 with an H-index of 23. He serves as Guest Editor for IEEE TMM and Pattern Recognition, and Senior Program Committee Member for IJCAI2021. He won the Outstanding Young Scientist Award in Artificial Intelligence of Shandong Province in 2022 and has been listed in the World’s Top 2% Scientists for four consecutive years.

Aihui Wang, Professor and Postdoctoral Fellow, leads the "Control Engineering" Outstanding Postgraduate Supervisor Team of Henan Province. She is an Excellent Teacher of the Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports System of Henan Province and a Class-C High-level Talent of Henan Province. She is the Director of Henan International Joint Laboratory of Intelligent Bionic Robots, the person-in-charge of the key discipline "Electronic Information" in the new round of discipline construction of Zhongyuan University of Technology, the person-in-charge of Automation and Robotics Engineering majors, and Vice President of Henan Robot Industry Association. She serves as a review expert for the National Key R&D Program, NSFC, major special projects of Henan Province, key R&D programs of Henan Province and so on. She won the Second Prize of Henan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, one First Prize and one Second Prize of Science and Technology Achievement Award from Henan Provincial Department of Education, four First Prizes for excellent academic papers from Henan Provincial Department of Education and one First Prize from industry association. She has published more than 120 high-level SCI/EI papers, 3 monographs and authorized 9 invention patents. She presides over one research topic of National Key R&D Program, one Key R&D Special Project of Henan Province and four general provincial and ministerial research projects. As a key member, she has participated in six NSFC projects, one major international cooperation special project, two Eurasian cooperation projects, more than ten provincial and ministerial research projects and three national/regional projects in Japan.

Xing Xie, Postdoctoral Fellow, Associate Professor and Director of Robotics Engineering Department, School of Intelligent Manufacturing, Huanghuai University. He was selected for the Young Talent Support Project of China Association for Science and Technology, Academic and Technical Leader of Henan Provincial Department of Education, Young Scientific and Technical Expert of Zhumadian City, etc. He has long been engaged in research on structural safety and reliability and has achieved remarkable results in engineering applications in aerospace, marine and other fields. He presides over multiple vertical and horizontal research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Henan Science and Technology Research Projects. As the first or corresponding author, he has published more than 20 SCI papers and obtained more than 10 intellectual property rights including authorized invention patents and software copyrights. As the first completer, he has won five awards including the First Prize of the 5th Natural Science Academic Award of Henan Province and the First Prize for Excellent Scientific and Technical Paper of Henan Provincial Department of Education. Relevant research results play an important role in industrial practice.
