Prof. Yuanhua Ni, Nankai University, China

Brief introduction: Currently serving as a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Artificial Intelligence, Nankai University. He holds a Ph.D. in Science from the Institute of Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on operations research and optimization, optimal control and reinforcement learning, distributed optimization and swarm intelligence, as well as stochastic systems and cybersecurity control.

He has led two general projects under the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), with one currently ongoing. In 2016, he was awarded the 22nd Guan Zhao-Zhi Prize. His theoretical research has yielded prolific results, with over 20 SCI-indexed publications.

He serves as an editorial board member for the journals System & Control Letters and System Science and Mathematical Science, and holds memberships in the Stochastic Systems Group of the Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation (CAA), as well as the Intelligent Aerospace Professional Committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI).

 

 

Prof. Aiguo Wu, Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen), China

Brief introduction: He once served as a Research Fellow in the Department of Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Management at City University of Hong Kong (March 2009 - March 2011); and as a Visiting Professor in the School of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering at The University of Western Australia (July 2013 - July 2014).

His research interests include full-drive system methods, time-delay systems, spacecraft control, and descriptor systems. He has published 1 English monograph and over 120 SCI journal papers.

He was awarded the Second Class Prize of the National Natural Science Award of China in 2015, and the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award jointly issued by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council and the Ministry of Education in 2011. He was selected into the "New Century Excellent Talents Support Program" of the Ministry of Education in 2011, and received funding from the Excellent Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2018.

 

 

Prof. Mouquan Shen, Nanjing Tech University, China

Brief introduction: Postdoctoral fellow at Southeast University and visiting scholar at the University of Adelaide, Australia. Selected into the 12th batch of training targets for Jiangsu Province's "Six Talent Peaks" program in 2015; recipient of Nanjing Tech University's "Nangong Elite Jiusi Award" in 2015 and "Nangong Group Teaching Award" in 2014; supervisor of the team that won the special prize in the 6th "Yalong Cup" National College Students' Intelligent Building Engineering Practice Skills Competition in 2014. As the principal investigator, he has presided over 5 projects at or above the provincial and ministerial level, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the New Teacher Fund for Doctoral Programs of the Ministry of Education, and the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province.

 

 

Prof. Zaharuddin Mohamed, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia

Brief introduction: Prof. Zaharuddin Mohamed received the B.Eng. degree with the Department of EEE, University Kebangsaan Malaysia, Bangi, Malaysia, in 1993, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in control systems Engineering from the University of Sheffield, Sheffield, U.K., in 1995 and 2003, respectively. He is currently with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University Teknologi Malaysia, Iskandar Puteri, Malaysia. His research interests include control of underactuated systems, robotics, and mechatronics.
